To create a collection, go to the Products menu, then click on the Collection submenu. Here, you just have to click on Create a collection.

Content of the collection

You can now add the name of your collection, an image to illustrate it, and the display order of your products in this collection. When choosing the display of your products, the same golden rule applies again: ask yourself what your potential clients are looking for!

Here are a few examples of use:
- Newest: your products will be displayed by date of creation, from newest to oldest. This option is very useful if you want to present your new products first.
This option is very often chosen by clothing stores that regularly receive new items for example, or bookstores, which clients regularly consult to find new reading material.
- Lowest price: Your products will be displayed in order of price, from the least expensive to the most expensive. This can be a good option for a grocery store, to help clients control their budget.
- Manual: you choose the place of each product. In this case you’re the boss, and you can use this option as a way to highlight the products you want to sell first. If you are a design enthusiast, it will also allow you to perfectly control the visual rendering of your product list.

SEO for your collections

Just like your store's product sheets, your collections can be indexed on search engines. So remember to fill in the Title and Meta description tags, and to personalize your URLs with the keywords you have carefully selected.
